As discussed at HBCC-3097, three examples in this Bass Collection display are from the same obverse and reverse dies, and were not identified by Walter Breen. Following Walter Breen’s descriptions, obverse 1 has the first two stars almost touching and perfect letters in TY of LIBERTY. This obverse has a broken T. Obverse 2 is also described with perfect TY and has the first star distant from the curl. Obverse 3 is described as having a defective TY and first and eighth stars equally spaced from devices. Obverse 4 has the 1 free of the curl and obverse 5 has the knobbed 6 font.
