This is the same die marriage as both HBCC-3097 and 3098, with the obverse in a very late die state, exhibiting numerous die cracks. All three of these half eagles have the same reverse die, instantly identified by the faint arrow shafts running into and below the N. Breen’s reverse A has a small D in UNITED, reverse B has UNI almost touching at the top, reverse C has an opening in clouds below the extreme left base of E in STATES, reverse D has arrows extending below the base of I, and reverse E has numerous features different from this die.
